One thing that I need to change in my treatment and make it a more realistic tv show is one of the cast members needing to be changed. In my presentation I have Benedict Cumberbatch as the main character Sergio. However, due to my show being a cop drama that isn't very popular I need to have a different actor playing the role of Sergio. My replacement for Benedict Cumberbatch will be Eddie Redmayne as not only will be suit the role of being selfish, arrogant and a cop he also doesn't have as big of a name compared to Cumberbatch.
The budget of my show is also another thing I need to change. The current cost of my show is just over £850,000 which is a large amount of money for any show, but this show specifically doesn't include any special effects or technology that is expensive. I need to make changes to my budget sheet, potentially make the cost of the cast less then the current cost (127,000) but also cut down on hair, makeup and props so that its more like a BBC show. By doing these changes, the cost of my TV show should be cut down to at least 400,000/500,000.
Finally, I stated that my show has horror included as one of the main genre's. I have to announce more parts in the movie that include horror and thriller. By doing this I should create more tension and conflict between the main characters causing hatred, violence and horrific scenes as a whole.
